Rockwell Automation Positions India as Key Global Export Hub

At the recent Rockwell Automation Fair 2025, company leadership highlighted India's strategic role in its global operations. Rockwell's business in India has seen high growth over the past five years, with its workforce expanding from 700 to over 4,000 employees. The company has inaugurated a new manufacturing facility in Chennai this year and operates major software and hardware design centers in the country. While currently export-oriented, these Indian plants are also positioned to serve the growing domestic market. Rockwell views its manufacturing footprint in India as part of a broader strategy to build supply chain resiliency with multiple global locations. The company's Asia-Pacific President indicated that more of its product portfolio is expected to be manufactured in India over time.
