FATEK Showcases Advanced PLC and HMI Solutions at 2023 China Industrial Automation Fair

It features a processing speed of 0.8 microseconds per basic instruction, leveraging dedicated motion control chips and algorithms. The M-series facilitates complex motion tasks like circular interpolation and electronic gearing, addressing the growing demand for integrated motion control within PLC platforms. It supports industrial Ethernet protocols such as Ethernet and EtherCAT, alongside Modbus and MQTT for device communication, and integrates with FATEK's IoT platform for remote monitoring and maintenance.

Accompanying the PLC launch was the U7-series HMI, engineered for durability and high performance. It boasts a robust CPU, 4GB Flash, 1GB RAM, and dual communication ports for rapid data handling. Built with an aluminum alloy frame, it operates reliably in temperatures from -20 to 60 degrees Celsius and features an IP66-rated front panel with anti-corrosive coating, ensuring stability in harsh industrial environments. The U7-series supports communication with various PLC brands via Modbus, OPC UA, and MQTT, and includes recipe management, data logging, and alarm functions. It also offers SQL database connectivity and seamless integration with FATEK's IoT ecosystem.

In response to industry trends, FATEK emphasized the convergence of information technology (IT) and operational technology (OT). The company envisions PLCs evolving beyond traditional sequential control to become data gateways, collecting field information for cloud processing and enabling bidirectional data flow between devices and management systems. This approach aims to enhance operational efficiency and support smart manufacturing initiatives.
